Roman crescent
Instructions
Place the flour, fountain in the Middle put the softened butter, 2 egg yolks, a pinch of salt and a little water.
Working with your hands by mixing all ingredients and adding water if necessary.
Let the dough rest for an hour, then roll out a pastry with a rolling pin and with a glass cut into lots of disks.
Mince the Ham with a dozen Sage leaves, then add the diced provolone cheese, grated cheese and egg.
Mix, add salt and pepper.
Place in the center of each disc a little of the mixture and fold the dough in half by sealing the edges well.
Brush crescents with a beaten egg.
FRY in plenty of oil.
Retire when they are pale gold.
Serve well-heated

- 300 g of flour
- 100 g of spicy provolone cheese
- 100 g of ham
- 50 g of butter
- 3 eggs
- 15 g of grated cheese
- Sage
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
