Instructions

Caramelize in a pan 4 tablespoons sugar, then lay the apples have been wetted with wine, Calvados and 1/2 glass of water.

Sprinkle with remaining sugar, cinnamon, cloves and cook in covered pot over low heat for an hour by spraying apples every so often with its own gravy.
