Cod kedgeree
Instructions
In a saucepan, boil the codfish in water with the bay leaf.
When it is cooked, remove skin and bones and cut it into slices.
In a separate pot, Cook in salted water the rice and drain it al dente.
In a separate saucepan prepare sauce by working all the ingredients with a whisk melted butter after, so as to avoid the formation of lumps.
Get a baking pan previously heated circular oven and roll out to alternate layers in rice, cod fish, hard-boiled eggs cut into slices and wet with sauce.
Repeat the operation in order to obtain a second layer that will finish with the sauce.
Serve warm at the table.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 850 g of cod
- 200 g of rice
- 3 hardboiled eggs
- 1 leaf of laurel
- For the sauce:
- 50 cl of milk
- 40 g of butter
- 40 g of flour
- 5 cl of cooking salt cod broth
- 2 tablespoons of curry
- Salt
- White pepper
- Nutmeg
