Lemon rum granita
Instructions
Put the sugar in a saucepan with water and bring to a boil, stirring often with a wooden spoon to melt the sugar.
Remove the syrup from the heat, add the lemon juice and let cool completely.
Pass the mixture through a fine mesh cloth, pour it into ice trays and keep it in the freezer for 3 hours, stirring with a wooden spoon every 30 minutes.
